Jochen Dreissigacker took over the family estate in 2001 and transitioned to organic viticulture, later incorporating biodynamic principles. The estate spans 45 hectares in Rheinhessen, with 55% planted to Riesling. Vineyards are situated in prime locations like Bechtheim and Westhofen, known for their loess-loam soils and optimal sun exposure. The estate emphasizes low yields and minimal intervention in the cellar, using indigenous yeasts and avoiding residual sugar to ensure purity and expression of terroir.
