Henschke is a family-owned winery established in 1868 in Keyneton, South Australia. The 'Louis' Semillon is named after Louis Edmund Henschke (1919–1990), the fourth-generation grower of the Hill of Grace vineyard. The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Eden Valley vineyard, planted in 1966 by Cyril Henschke. The vineyard is situated at 500 meters above sea level on sandy loam soils over gravel and bedrock, with patches of clay. The vineyard employs sustainable farming practices, including permanent sod culture and minimal chemical input, with organic and biodynamic practices introduced over time.

Tasting Notes: The Henschke Louis Semillon 2021 presents a pale straw colour with lime green hues. The nose offers fragrant aromas of meadow flowers, clover blossom, citrus zest, red apple, white currant, freshly cut straw, and crème brûlée. The palate is rich and textured, with creamy complexity of baked peach and grilled lemon, balanced by crisp citrus acidity and a long mineral finish.
