Domaine Rolly Gassmann, established in 1967 through the union of the Rolly and Gassmann families, is located in the Alsace village of Rorschwihr. The estate encompasses 50 hectares across Rorschwihr and Bergheim. The Brandhurst de Bergheim vineyard, situated at 240 to 300 meters above sea level on southeast-facing slopes, is planted on Jurassic marl-limestone soils rich in magnesium. The domaine practices organic and biodynamic farming methods, although they are not officially certified. Grapes are hand-harvested, and the wines are aged in large oak barrels, some over 200 years old.
